I am soo excited. I have not weighed this little since 1996! I am low enough on my weight now that I have to reduce the food on my diet plan:( I am not happy about that at all! I now only get 2 servings of protein + 2 protein bar, 2 servings of fruit, 2 servings of CHO, 1 serving of Fats, 1 serving of dairy and 2 vegetables. :( It seems like not enough food for me-especially since I have been sooo hungry lately. Oh well. I guess I don't need as much food as I used to when I was heavier!

This week has been a borderline good one! I have been SOOOOO hungry for some reason! I think it must be getting close to that time of the month! I have been delivering flyer's door to door for my hubbies business and I am counting that as my exercise! Oh well that is better than nothing right?

So....I have been eating well and the numbers on the scale will not change:( I am sure I am just becoming more toned and muscle weighs more than fat....right? That is what I will tell myself because I get frustrated when the numbers on the scale do not reflect my work!

So I ran again on the parkway again today. I tried to increase my intervals to 2 minutes running and then 1 minute walking....but I couldn't do it. I waited until around 10am to run and the sun was blazing hot, tomorrow I definitely have to try to get the exercise in much earlier!

Today I went for a walk/run on the Provo Jordan River Parkway. I ran 1 min./walked 1 min. I am NOT a runner at I thought this would be a good way to start training for perhaps a 5K. I talked with a friend that has similar hip problems that I do and this is how she trains to run. It felt fine this morning...actually it felt really good to get out and exercise!

I have decided to try and post everyday so I don't forget to post at all (like in my last competition!) I have seen some other posts detailing what people are eating daily and I think that is a great idea! This is what I have eaten today. My meal plan advises me to consume 2 1/2 proteins+ 2 protein bars, 2 servings of fruit, 3 carbohydrates, 3 servings of vegetables, 2 servings of dairy and 8 glasses of water. A ton of food- but it is balance which is what I totally need ...otherwise I would be eating carbs all day and then be craving more carbs because of my sugar rush and downer!

Breakfast: boiled egg with fresh salsa, Yogurt with 1 cup of berries
Snack: protein bar and banana
Lunch: Healthy choice frozen dinner fettuccine, 1 cup broccoli and 6 carrots
Snack: 6 cashews, protein bar
Dinner: hamburger with bun and all of the fixins (no mayo) green salad
Snack: 6 cashews, yogurt

I didn't get to the gym again! I did go on a walk with my two younger boys, so I will count that;)

I have done well eating the right foods this week, but I have not found the time for myself to hit the gym! I have been walking with my 4 kids in the park....but that is not exactly cardio! I am liking the numbers on the scale they have been good to me the past week. The most important thing I am trying to remember while trying to eat right is that if I am hungry too long my body will start going into the "starvation mode" and decrease my metabolism, so I have been eating healthy snacks very frequently!

It has officially started! I woke up this morning with a very random song in my head, but it fit perfectly! It is an old Sawyer Brown song. The race is on and here come pride in the back stretch......etc and the winner loses ALL! I am going to do just that and lose it all this time!
