Hello, I am not doing as good on my blogging as I would like. I work full-time and have 4 children to take care of. My husband runs a small business that also keeps me running. I am slacking on my blogging! I have kept on track this week with my eating. I have really paid attention to my portion sizes and food groups. It is amazing how easy it is to over eat!

We just got back from 5 days of camping 2 hours ago. I managed to stay on track with my eating plan (sorta, if you consider dutch oven cherry cobbler a serving of fruit.) I hiked several times. One of the hikes was about 3 hours long with my 5 year old in tow. My second hike was 5 hours long with my husband. We hiked to the top of Mt. Belnap in Beaver, Utah. Over 13,000 feet above sea level. It was sooo fun and we even got caught in the middle of a hail storm. Such fun. I have decided I am going to hike more often. Such good cardio and a total body work out (when you are climbing on all fours!)

I was able to work out for real today. Nothing fantastic. I just went downstairs and did the elliptical trainer that my hubby got 2 years ago. I also kept physically busy putting my house back together after getting my carpets shampooed last week. I have decided keeping myself super busy working around the house (on my days off) is serving 3 purposes: 1-my house is getting some MUCH needed attention-I have totally neglected it since my 2 year old was born. 2-I am burning extra calories 3-I feel emotionally better without all of the disorganization and clutter that was also weighing me down.

So...It has been a CRAZY week! My only brother got married yesterday and I was out of town all week trying to get things ready for the big day. I didn't "exercise" this week. I did however work my butt of washing windows, doing yardwork, cleaning and watching my boys. I stayed incredibly busy but did not get any cardio in. I am home for 2 days and then will leave on wednesday to go camping for 5 days. I don't know how well I will do eating while camping. I am going to make sure I do alot of hiking!
